Blu-ray & DVD release: ‘Parasite’

Criterion are bringing the 2019 South Korean black comedy thriller ‘Parasite’ (기생충) to US Blu-ray and DVD on October 27, 2020.
Directed by Bong Joon-Ho, the film revolves around an unemployed family who take a peculiar interest in a wealthy and glamorous family, which leads to them getting entangled in an unexpected incident. The cast includes Song Kang-Ho, Lee Sun-Kyun, Cho Yeo-Jeong, Choi Woo-Sik, Park So-Dam, and Jang Hye-Jin.
Synopsis: Two families in Seoul—one barely scraping by in a dank semibasement in a low-lying neighborhood, the other living in luxury in a modern architectural marvel overlooking the city—find themselves on a collision course that will lay bare the dark contradictions of capitalism with shocking ferocity.
