Arrow Video are bringing the ‘Ju-On: The Grudge Collection’ to UK Blu-ray on December 19, 2022.
“Ju-On”: the name given to a deadly curse spawned when someone dies in the grip of a violent rage. All who come into contact with it are doomed… Collected together for the first time, writer-director Takashi Shimizu’s ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’ series represents the flesh-crawling pinnacle of Japanese chillers that swept the globe at the turn of the millennium.
Ju-On: The Curse (2000)
Cast: Yurei Yanagi, Chiaki Kuriyama, Hitomi Miwa, and Asumi Miwa.
Synopsis: A teacher visits the house of one of his students after the boy goes missing, only to have a horrifying excuse for his absence from school.
Ju-On: The Curse 2 (2000)
Cast: Yuuko Daike, Makoto Ashikawa, Kahori Fujii, and Mayuko Saito.
Synopsis: After losing both her boyfriend and her unborn child in a car crash, Kyoko is horrified to learn that something is still growing inside her.
Ju-On: The Grudge (2002)
Cast: Megumi Okina, Misaki Ito, Misa Uehara, and Yui Ichikawa.
Synopsis: A mysterious and vengeful spirit marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides.
Ju-On: The Grudge 2 (2003)
Cast: Noriko Sakai, Chiharu Niiyama, Kei Horie, and Yui Ichikawa.
Synopsis: As their curse spreads on, the ghosts find their chance to live once again through the pregnancy of a cursed woman.
Ju-On: White Ghost (2009)
Cast: Akina Minami, Hiroki Suzuki, Mihiro, and Aimi Nakamura.
Synopsis: Akane begins seeing visions of a female ghost wearing the same yellow hat and red satchel she wore as a school child.
Ju-On: Black Ghost (2009)
Cast: Ai Kago, Koji Seto, Yuri Nakamura, and Maria Takagi.
Synopsis: After losing her child at birth, the dark horror of the grudge begins growing within her.
