Shirley knows only comradeship and righteousness with the police force, but it’s all shattered when her cop boyfriend is killed. But he was really corrupt, and he may not be the only one close to Shirley that deals in darkness. Uncle Feng secretly deals in drugs, and even the chief may not be what he seems.
Tiger Cage 2 (1990)
Dragon Yau is a cop who is forced to go on the run while handcuffed to lawyer Mandy after being falsely accused of robbery. In addition to the police, the two are being pursued by David, a handler who was supposed to deliver the money involved in the robbery. When they find out that a corrupt businessman is behind the robbery, the three literally fight to clear their names.
Tiger Cage 3 (1991)
James and John are two cops on the case of shady business dealings involving the boss of James’ girlfriend Suki. John uses his knowledge of the investigation to further his stock market dealings and eventually comes unstuck when the boss is arrested and he loses all his money. Meanwhile, Suki is kidnapped, due to her involvement on both sides, and James goes to her rescue, ending up badly beaten and left for dead after an explosion. He survives but is left badly scarred and various double-crossings eventually lead to increasingly brutal physical encounters.
