Hideaki Anno working hard on ‘Evangelion 3.0+1.0’

With ‘Shin Godzilla’, Japanese animator and director Hideaki Anno has achieved great critical and commercial success and helped to revive the long-running franchise.
Fans of the filmmaker’s animated series and films, ‘(Neon Genesis) Evangelion’, have been keen to find out what is happening with the fourth and final ‘Evangelion’ film, whose release date has been pushed back a number of times already.
When asked about ‘Evangelion 3.0+1.0’ at a recent press conference, Anno replied, “I’ll work hard [on it]. I mean, I’m already working hard [on it].”
So hopefully, we will get to see the final film in the ‘Evangelion’ reboot (or ‘Rebuild’) in the very near future.
