South Korean box office juggernaut ‘Train to Busan’ is simply unstoppable, at least at the Asian box office.
Since its release in South Korea on July 20, the zombie thriller has attracted nearly 11.5 million admissions, making it the highest grossing film at the local box office so far this year.
It has also been taking other Asian countries by storm.
In Hong Kong, it became the all-time highest grossing South Korean film within just 4 days of release, beating the 14-year record held by the previous record holder ‘My Sassy Girl’. It has now grossed over HK$ 50,000,000.
The film has also been smashing records in other Asian countries, and is now the all-time highest grossing South Korean film in Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore.
