Wu Jing’s ‘Wolf Warrior II’ opened in China with a bang and has continued its record-breaking run since. It has already earned over 4 billion RMB (approximately 600 million USD) and is now officially the all-time box office champion at the Chinese box office, beating the former no. 1, Stephen Chow’s ‘The Mermaid’.
‘Wolf Warrior II’ is still going really strong and has not yet shown any signs of slowing. Some analysts have predicted that it will earn as much as 5 billion RMB at the end of its theatrical run.
