Wu Jing’s ‘Wolf Warrior II’ tops China box office

Action star Wu Jing’s ‘Wolf Warrior II‘ has opened to first place at the China box office, beating Andrew Lau’s ‘The Founding of an Army’. It has earned 300 million RMB in its first 2 days of release.
The film is the sequel to the 2015 hit ‘Wolf Warrior‘, which also topped the box office when it was released 2015.
Directed, co-written and starring Wu, the film sees his character, former Chinese Special Forces operative Leng Feng, in the middle of a revolution in Africa and having to survive and rescue many innocent people.
