Trailer For 'Zatoichi: The Last'

 

The trailer has been released for 'Zatoichi: The Last', supposedly the final part of the incredibly popular Zatoichi film series. Directed by Sakamoto Junji ('Children of the Dark'), the film stars singing idol Katori Shingo ('Monkey Magic') as the legendary blind swordsman.

Synopsis

Blind masseur and sword fighter Zatoichi (Katori) decides he is tired of the road and wants to settle down in his home village with his wife (Satomi Ishihara).  As usual though, trouble rears its ugly head and Zatoichi is provoked back into a battle that will require both his wits and his hidden katana.

'Zatoichi: The Last' is due to open across Japan on the 29th May 2010.
