Hong Kong actor and filmmaker Lee Siu-Kei has passed away

In March this year, we brought you the news that Hong Kong actor and filmmaker Lee Siu-Kei married his partner of over 30 years (read the full story here). Today, we are very sad to report that the 69-year old actor, screenwriter, director and producer has passed away from metastatic liver cancer at Hong Kong’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Lee was most famous for his role as Kei in the ‘Young and Dangerous’ film franchise as well as appearing in a number of Stephen Chow comedies including ‘The God Of Cookery‘ and ‘King Of Comedy‘. His last film appearance was in Benny Chan’s 2013 hit ‘The White Storm’.
