‘Fatal Move’ is most certainly flawed and could have been a lot tighter and less meandering. Yet it still manages to be an entertaining slice of gangster action that entertains if never really ignites.

Fans of exploitation cinema as well as students of international cinema and its trends will have solid reward from ‘Female Convict #701: Scorpion’ and the powerful ferocity of the onscreen tale of love, betrayal and revenge it weaves.

While ‘Fierce Cop’ flip flops between melodramatic exploitation and a serious examination of trafficking, it thankfully keeps proceedings thundering along with Kenji Tanigaki’s excellent action design.

‘Fight Back To School’ is one of the finest films in the Stephen Chow back catalogue, and one of my favourite Hong Kong comedies of all time.

Although it isn’t quite as good as the original, ‘Fight Back To School 2’ is still a solid sequel that contains some classic moments of hilarity.

The lack of a real plot combined with some extremely theatrical action often makes the film feel more like a set of fighter’s showreels rather than a proper movie.

While it may not be wholly original, ‘Final Justice’ is still a competent crime drama that has some top performances and a couple of above average action scenes.

While the narrative and tone get a little muddled and the pace dips here and there, ‘Fire of Conscience’ is still a good tough-as-nails cop thriller with some brutal action.

Undemanding fun that benefits from a likeable cast, a vibe that just wants to entertain, and lots of shiny fight action.

‘Flaming Brothers’ easily holds its place amongst the best of the genre as well as marked the successful return of one of Hong Kong’s favourite cinematic sons.

‘Full Alert’ is more focused on crime and the effects of violence on the average man than it is on the dynamics of the police thriller.

‘Full Contact’ is a true action classic that boasts strong leading performances, inventive direction and mind-blowing fight scenes.
