If you have a strong stomach for bad cinema or are just a sucker for films from the IFD era then it may well be worth adding to your collection.

If you’re happy to laugh along with it then you’ll still find something to appreciate, but a kung fu classic this is not.

A rather unremarkable and unsatisfying debut from writer and director Song Neung-han, ‘No. 3’ is neither as funny as it thinks it is or as hip and entertaining as it wants to be.

‘Protégé De La Rose Noire’ is an extremely exaggerated and silly comedy that really failed to tickle any part of my funny bone.

The title bears no resemblance to the film it makes you think of and also bears little relevance to anything in this actual film, instead ‘Roaring Dragon, Bluffing Tiger’ is just a dull and lazy wannabe adventure flick.

Only recommended for hardcore gore fans, those who have to see every film from this unique genre and if you are sitting around with a bunch of less critical film fans getting very drunk.

This is certainly a good looking film and the young cast try their best but are hampered with a narrative that has scenes just go on and on explaining everything ad infinitum.

‘The Musketeer’ is a horrible re-interpretation of Dumas’s classic tale that will most likely have him turning in his grave.

The efforts to downplay the (deservedly) serious subject matter over lengthy diversions into dreadfully unamusing comedy shtick ultimately diffuse whatever real horror ideals it may have had.

Nice effects work and one awesome giant wave but a whole load of tedious drama unfortunately means ‘Tidal Wave’ is sunk before it even starts.

‘Two Jolly Cops’ starts with a modest spark, but pours a bucket of water on this immediately; what follows is ninety minutes of utter boredom.
