The performances from all parties are excellent, and Jackie has reinstalled a little faith in me that he is still capable of making a good action movie.

This is a rollicking action-adventure that is packed with top kung fu entertainment but because of a lack of depth misses out on a higher grade.

The glory days of the 80s ninja flick may be long gone but ‘New York Ninja’ is a welcome reminder of how much crazy earnest fun they were.

Overcoming a small budget and using a single location to its advantage, ‘Nightshooters’ is slick, laugh-out-loud funny and when it cuts loose, a full tilt action flick.

‘Nine-Ring Gold Dagger’ might not have that hook that keeps the viewer on board throughout, but there is enough promise to make it a more than adequate watch.

Non stop, expertly put together fight scenes, ninjas back on the screen and two leading men cutting loose with intensity and slick fight moves, make ‘Ninja’ a hugely enjoyable ride.

This is certainly not a flick for mainstream critics and while it could have eased up on the over stylisation of the action, ‘Ninja Assassin’ is still a big, bloody hoot.

As with a lot of IFD movies, watching ‘Ninja Commandments’ can often be excruciatingly painful, as the majority of the film is downright awful. Thankfully though, the ninjas are on hand to save the day…

Perhaps one of the best of the many (many) ninja movies to bear the Filmark International Ltd mark and mainly due to the extreme amount of sheer ninja action lunacy it packs in.

As far as IFD productions go, ‘Ninja Dragon’ is hardly their finest hour and is really only suited to hardcore fans of the genre. Those of you seeking a sane slice of cinema would be advised to look elsewhere.

‘Ninja In The Dragon’s Den’ stands out as a fully-accomplished kung-fu comedy with superb fight action.

‘Ninja In The USA’ certainly isn’t anything special but it’s still a fairly pleasing low-budget chop socky that has some well-handled action.
