‘All For The Winner’ is a fun all-round movie with a particularly pleasing performance from Stephen Chow.

‘Born Invincible’ contains what many consider to be Carter Wong’s strongest performance; playing the crazed Chi Kung master, Wong enjoys every minute of his scenery chewing role.

Yuen Woo-Ping and his brothers fill the film with stunning ‘drunken’ conflicts and duels.

‘Eastern Condors’ is a mind blowing mix of kung fu and wartime combat that will have you hooked from start to finish.

This is definitely an entertaining film that is worth catching. There is, though, the constant nagging feeling that this film could have been better.

It not only shows that Yuen Biao can still bust a move, but is one of the late 90’s better dramatic action movies.

‘Hitman in the Hand of Buddha’ is often very decent, but its flaws drag it away from approaching the top tier of the genre.

‘Legend Of The Dragon’ is a very entertaining parody of Bruce Lee movies that is packed full of Stephen Chow comedy gold.

Newcomers will enjoy the fight action, the slightly more experienced will also appreciate the comedy and the veteran viewer will be entertained by the great cast.

This is a worthy purchase for fans of the genre, and the minimal action is well handled and true to the spirit of the genre.

‘My Father Is A Hero’ provides some adrenalin pumping set-pieces, notably a classic scene where Li takes on a dozen of the villain’s lackies with a pair of tonfa.

This is the definitive Hong Kong action flick of the 80’s, easily on a par with ‘Police Story’ and should take pride of place in any fan’s collection.
