One’s enjoyment of ‘My Kung Fu Sweetheart’ depends on one’s appreciation, or tolerance, for Wong Jing’s films.

For everyone looking for a fight-filled evening’s entertainment, ‘My Life’s On The Line’ will satisfy even the most jaded viewer.

If you’re a fan of Hong Kong comedies then this one certainly delivers the goods and you’ll also be rewarded with a couple of hard-hitting action scenes along the way.

‘My New Partner’ is a glossy and sharply packaged Korean production, but its attempts at emotional resonance are not entirely successful.

With a studio-bound feel that ages it beyond its years and an ambling storyline that sees the useful sub-plots cast aside, ‘My Rebellious Son’ rarely shines.

‘My School Mate, the Barbarian’ is an unusual film that centres on a world of youths that rarely touches that of the adult realm. If the viewer can get used to this, they should enjoy the rest of the duration.

‘My Way’ is a based-on-true-events film with significant embellishments and dramatic orchestration. Of course, that’s not to say it isn’t very affecting overall though.

‘My Wife Is A Gangster’ is a fun film with some fine elements. It’s just a shame that the whole is not quite as good as the sum of its parts.

‘My Wife Is A Gangster 2’ may have lost the edge in the action department, but it’s definitely a more competent all-round effort.

Worth a look if you are a fan of the genre, as much of the action hints at the potential on offer when such talented choreographers are available.

Although it’s still far from the quality we have come to expect from the manga and anime, ‘Naruto The Movie 2’ is clearly a much more fitting slice of Ninja pie to entertain fans between episodes.

Naruto’s first cinematic outing does just about enough to pass the time, but it remains a far cry from the quality that we have come to expect from the series.
