Don Wilson is his usual likable self, gets to kick loads of butt and there’s something odd and unique about seeing him run around Ireland kicking lots of ass.

‘My Name is Nobody’ (due to its budgetary constraints and modest scale) doesn’t hold a candle to the greats of the sub-genre, but it harbours one saving grace – and it’s a nasty one.

There is much to enjoy in ‘Needing You…’ and the film is a pleasant antidote to Hollywood’s own romantic comedies.

Although it barely scratches the surface in terms of the quality of the show, this is a good example of how to make an anime series into a film without giving away any of the finer details.

‘Queen Of Kowloon’ is a needlessly miserable drama that prefers wallowing in empty disaster to telling a story we might actually find ourselves involved in.

The idea behind ‘Romeo Must Die’ was an interesting one but the finished product winds up being distinctly average.

‘Shanghai Noon’ is not as action packed or original as some of Chan’s early efforts, but it is still one of his best American outings to date.

The opening does promise a fun and breezy film before it gets bogged down in confusion, but there are moments that keep the viewer watching.

A really entertaining ride that delivers thanks to a pacey script, genuine moments of amusement and enjoyable performances from everyone involved.

While ‘Summer Holiday’ has no major weaknesses, it is a traditionally clichéd romantic comedy that doesn’t attempt to throw anything more challenging into the blend.

With a clearly impressive budget and a star-studded cast, it is to be expected that the film is padded out and not always as engrossing as it should have been.

Despite its obvious shortcomings, ‘The Foul King’ is an excellent advert for Korean cinema and retains a strong entertainment value even during its weaker moments.
